Dr Odette Erskine

MBBS (HONOURS), PHD, FRACP

Dr Erskine graduated from the University of Sydney, and completed basic physician training at Westmead Hospital, Sydney. She completed advanced training in the fields of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at Westmead Hospital. She was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2013. Dr Erskine worked as the Clinical Fellow in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at Westmead Hospital before her appointment as a Staff Specialist at Westmead Hospital.

Current clinical practice covers a wide range of respiratory disorders including airways disease (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma and bronchiectasis), Sleep Medicine (obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA), central sleep apnoea and complex sleep disorders), Interstitial Lung Disease, Lung Cancer and Cystic Fibrosis.

Dr Erskine was awarded a full-time NHMRC scholarship to conduct research investigating novel sleep measurement devices to detect sleep abnormalities in patients with cystic fibrosis as part of her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at the University of Sydney.

Dr Erskine is a Clinical Lecturer for the Western Clinical School at the University of Sydney and is involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching at Westmead Hospital. Dr Odette Erskine works as a Staff Specialist at Westmead Hospital and has private rooms at Cammeray.
